Luna: 300mm x 2, 4x6 print @ 300dpi 

Sometime this month (meaning Oct. '97) I'm planning to photograph the moon right at moonrise and moonset, when its bottom edge is resting on the horizon, and a bit earlier as well.  The atmosphere should magnify it, making available detail even better.

I'll try to reduce glare off its surface with a polarizer and/or a color filter.
